The developer had successfully completed the project with sale proceeds repaying the construction financier in full. Balmain was approached to provide funding against five remaining unsold units to release cash for use in subsequent projects.

Balmain provided a residual stock loan to 70% of the security’s value and maintained an LVR of 65% on subsequent sales to continue a leveraged position against these otherwise idle assets.
